The ministry's statement mentioned that following negotiations, 95 Russian soldiers held captive in Ukraine were transferred to Moscow, and in exchange, 95 Ukrainian Armed Forces members were handed over to Kiev. The statement also noted the United Arab Emirates' humanitarian mediation during the release of Russian soldiers.It was further specified that the freed Russian military personnel would be transported to Moscow for medical treatment and rehabilitation at healthcare facilities under the Russian Ministry of Defense, using military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
